Natasha Meister will be entertaining us again this Sunday. Last week was absolutely great so, don’t miss Natasha’s performance this week.
Guitarist and singer songwriter, Natasha Meister has been hitting up the music scene from a very young age. Although inspired by the blues, she has been capturing the attention of a broad audience including young and old. Natasha has gained recognition for her powerful yet controlled vocal and her mastery on the guitar at just 19 years of age.
Born in the small town of Thorndale, Ontario, Canada, to a butcher and a butcher’s wife, Natasha started out singing in a local church choir just at the age of 8 and has been performing ever since!
Being less than a year in a brand new country, Natasha has already achieved so much. She performed alongside some of South Africa’s finest including, Piet Botha, Tim Parr, The Boulevard Blues Band, Dave Ferguson, Dan Patlansky, and The Jack Mantis Band. Natasha currently plays solo and fronts “Natasha Meister Band”, with Roger Bashew on bass and Paul Tizzard on drums.
