Heritage Day Events on the Cape Point Route
Friday 24 September is Heritage Day in South Africa. This public holiday is relatively new in South Africa but the day is set to encourage South Africans to celebrate their cultural heritage and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions.
Whilst this may be hard to define – there are many aspects of South African culture that make all members of our rainbow nation unique – be it language (we have eleven official languages), be it social, historical or even food – we are South Africans despite our differences!
